My name is James Bornemann, and I maintain this blog to share my GIS work with colleagues and students. The posts cover methods to overcome simple but stubborn daily tasks, LiDAR and raster processing and other cartographic and geoprocessing tasks. In some posts I also describe how GIS can be used for land planning, flood risk reduction and human-environmental interactions. If you stumble across this blog I hope you learn something new.
